What type of information do we collect
We only collect personal information (or ‘data’) from those who directly interact with us: parents and carers (and/or those who make enquiries), children who use our services, supporters, donors, volunteers, referrers, and those who use our website.

In order to best meet the needs of our children and families we support, LS29 also may need to collect and store Special Category Data.
Special Category Data is data that is considered “sensitive personal data” under GDPR and other data protection laws as it could reveal racial and/or ethnic origin, religious beliefs and details of the physical or mental health of the both children and their families.

By providing any sensitive personal data you explicitly agree that we may collect and use it in order to provide our services.

You can also withdraw your initial application, if you do not wish to become a member of LS29.

16 or Under
We are concerned to protect the privacy of children aged 16 or under. If you are aged 16 or under‚ please get your parent/guardian’s permission beforehand whenever you provide us with personal information.

Volunteers
We’ll only ever use the information you provide, and references from your chosen referees, to:

You can opt out of receiving communications from us at any time.
We will only be able to send communications, updates, or information to those who have stated they are happy for us to do so.

We will not sell or share your information with third parties unless you have specifically given us permission to do so – for example for monitoring information requested by funders in relation to a grant we have received.
